Weed Removal

Identify the weeds

Different weeds may require different removal techniques, so it's essential to identify the specific types of weeds you're dealing with.

Manual removal

For small-scale weed removal, you can manually pull out weeds by hand or use a handheld weeding tool. Ensure that you remove the entire root system to prevent regrowth.

Digging or cultivation

Mulching

For larger weeds or those with deep roots, you may need to use a garden fork or shovel to dig them out. Loosen the soil around the weed and carefully lift it out, again ensuring that the root system is fully removed.

Apply a layer of mulch around desirable plants and over weed-prone areas. Mulch helps suppress weed growth by blocking sunlight and inhibiting weed germination.
